Technical Notes and Errata

This simulation should run on any browser that supports WEBGL, including Safari, Firefox and Chrome. It is noticed that Chrome seems to run about twice as fast. If you are running this from a web server, then nothing special is required for the browser. But if you are running it locally then you will need a browser with CORS disabled.

We have the problem that the software chosen for this simulation has tremendous scaling issues with geometric complexity. Some of that is normal and expected and some of it is surprising. One solution has been to remove complexity wherever possible but still retain what is essential. Examples of geometry removed for efficiency purposes include the window detail, the metal shades on many windows, the South Lobby (because of elevation issues), loading dock and so forth.
